Volvo approves imat-uve for chamber tests according to VCS 1027,2769

The already existing approval by Volvo for tests of the emission behavior of interior materials has now been supplemented by component tests in the 1m³ chamber. The tests according to the Volvo standard VCS 1027,2769 include the determination of volatile organic substances (VOC) as total value, selected concentrations of individual substances, the evaluation of odor, and the determination of a gravimetric fogging value. The expansion of the test portfolio listed at Volvo emphasizes imat’s expertise in the field of emissions and odor.

The approval of Volvo applies to the following areas:

Mönchengladbach:
Organic emissions (TVOC) according to VCS 1027,2749
Specific substances according to VCS 1027,2759
Formaldehyde emissions according to VCS 1027,2739
Fogging according to VCS 1027,2719
Odor according to VCS 1027,2729

Stuttgart:
Organic emissions (VOC) according to VCS 1027,2769 (1m³ chamber)

imat-uve is one of the only two service providers authorized by Volvo for the chamber emissions test (1m³) in Germany.
