Webinar: Leather Properties - Evaluation and possible odor sources

Written by imat-uve | Apr 28, 2021

During the treatment and processing of leather for various applications, often chemicals are used that can have an impact on the environment and the users of the product. In order to reduce pollutants and unpleasant odors to a minimum, efficient analysis and identification of these polluters is required above all.

As a specialist in this field, imat-uve was therefore invited by the associations of leather chemists and technologists AICC and IULTCS to a webinar to give a presentation to the professional audience on odor perception and odor evaluation.

Michael Holzwarth, Head of Competence Center VIAQ, VOC at imat-uve, will explain the theoretical basics and report from practice in the webinar.

Agenda:

  1. Introduction: the olfactory sense
  2. Odor evaluations for product qualification
  3. Identifying odor sources

Date: 29 April 2021
Time: 17.30 CEST

The webinar is open to all interested parties and free of charge!
