All clean! High demands on the air quality in the car
Increasing environmental impact and stricter laws worldwide are causing more and more companies and laboratories to focus on "Vehicle Interior Air Quality (VIAQ)". Harmful emissions occur not only outside the vehicle, but also through interior components and materials. For many years imat-uve's specialists in this field have been a reliable partner of the OEM and Tier 1 suppliers.
The proven experience is passed on by the testing service provider to its customers in Germany, China and the USA and offers workshops on the topic "Emissions and Odor in the Vehicle Interior". The high quality of the workshops and the competence of the speakers mean that the events are usually sold out very quickly. This is a great success and a confirmation for the company to set the right priorities. imat has therefore decided to offer several workshops worldwide again in 2019 and to further expand its own expertise through the multi-site competence center "Emission and Odor".
But not only in their own workshops are imat's emission experts in demand with their knowledge, but also at the important international standardization committees and specialist conferences. Michael Holzwarth (Senior Manager VIAQ, VOC, Odor) attended the meeting of the ISO expert group Vehicle Indoor Air Quality in Sydney (Australia) in September and then held specialist lectures at the Polyurethanes Technical Conference in Atlanta and at the Foam Expo in Hanover.
All interested parties can look forward to further workshops and lecture topics in the coming year. An event overview for Germany, China and the USA will be published shortly.
