The online talk "From waste to value - new machines for old textiles" is part of our series of events along the project "Recycling the Future Automotive Interior" which deals with the mechanical recycling of old clothes and is co-financed by the European Union as part of the INTERREG Germany-Netherlands program.

The German-Dutch project partners include the German company Trützschler, who is an expert in spinning preparation for cotton and man-made fiber sectors. The webinar will cover the topic around the various wastes that are generated in the textile process and are given a second life as a valuable raw material.

In this session, you will learn all about:

  • The development and refinement of a specialized machine
  • The production of high-quality yarns with a very special character from mixed textile waste
