Successful opening of „Soft Skills“ exhibition
Under the title "Soft Skills - Textile Material Concepts and Haptic Studies" the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein present their projects from the last semester in cooperation with imat-uve.
In addition to representatives of the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, such as Marion Ellwanger-Mohr, Professor in department 07, Dean Lutz Vossebein and Hans Peter Schlegelmilch from imat-uve, business partners from Daimler, Yanfeng, Adient, Anker and Tuchfabrik Willy Schmitz took part in the opening ceremony.
In close exchange with the design and development department of imat-uve, experimental material sketches and design concepts were developed, inspired by the inclusion of materials from the material library of the company. The aim was to develop textile surfaces and structures for use in vehicle interiors and to visualize the concepts on mood boards. The students were able to apply both analog and digital techniques in the design process.
From March 22 to March 29, interested people can visit the exhibition in the imat think space (Monforts Quartier 31). Please announce your visit by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
