imat Stuttgart accredited for outdoor weathering according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018
imat-uve has received the official DAkkS approval for outdoor weathering test field according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018. The test field in Stuttgart has been accredited for weathering tests in central European climates flexibly. In particular, the requirements of the Daimler test specification DBL 5416 regarding the qualification of coated parts made from thermoplastics for outdoor applications are fulfilled.

This accreditation of outdoor weathering according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018 in Stuttgart is a significant milestone in the expansion of the imat competence center for environmental simulation and outdoor weathering. imat has many years of expertise in environmental simulation and aging testing. In addition to testing under laboratory conditions with climate chambers and lighting devices, imat-uve now operates outdoor weathering not only on its test field in Kalahari (South Africa) but also in Stuttgart under central European climate.
