imat Shenyang now accredited for vibration tests in climate simulation
With immediate effect imat Shenyang offers accredited peeling (adhesive) strength tests according to ageing tests and complex vibration tests (shaker) for its customers. This enables imat Shenyang to offer its customers all-encompassing climate simulation tests in the automotive sector according to ISO/IEC 17025.
imat has succeeded in re-accrediting its testing competence by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) and meeting the high-quality standards of the automotive industry.
The accredited test methods relate, among others, to VDA, Daimler, BMW, and VW standards, particularly for

- Peeling (adhesive) strength tests
- Stiffness and strength tests
- Environmental simulation using climate tests
- Sun simulation with metal-halogenide lamps
- Length measurement

These tests are carried out in the field of component development and part approval as well as the series validation of lacquered interior and exterior components.
