How does the updated Daimler test specification DBL 5471 affect you as a supplier?

Testing

The test specification DBL 5471 defines the requirements to be met by components in the vehicle interior for delivery to OEM Daimler, in particular for trim and molded padded parts (composite components). It describes test procedures that simulate the aging of components over time using artificial weathering.  This regulation was completely revised and declared valid in October 2019.

The changes are based on technological findings and include both concretions and significant simplifications, which are also noticeable for the suppliers in terms of costs and time required for implementation.

In the webinar on 17 June 2020 you will learn:

  • The changes and updates in DBL 5471 (2019-10)
  • The key backgrounds to the requirements and tests
  • The effects for you as a supplier
