Since January 2023, the previous DBL 5430 has been replaced by the new specification DBL 1000.
The DBL 1000 is an internal company standard developed by Mercedes-Benz, which is required to be met by suppliers and other partners of the company. It sets limits and test procedures to ensure that components of Mercedes-Benz vehicles do not emit harmful substances into the interior air. Compliance with the DBL 1000 requirements is not only a prerequisite for successful collaboration with Mercedes-Benz but also an important contribution to ensuring the health and well-being of drivers and passengers.
