Accreditation of imat USA successfully extended acc. to A2LA (ISO/IEC 17025)

At our Marietta site (Atlanta, GA), the scope of accreditation in accordance with A2LA (ISO/IEC 17025) was successfully extended. The accredited services range from the categories of color and gloss, environmental simulations/ageing, abrasion, odor and VOC emissions, chemical resistance, fogging, to surface testing such as ball drop, cracking, staining and elongation.

The accredited portfolio has been expanded to include various test methods that are of particular interest to US and Asian car manufacturers and their suppliers. The range of tests has been extended with ASTM methods as well as GM, Ford, Toyota and Nissan standards. Tests for Volvo, PSA Groupe, BMW, and Porsche have also been added.

This allows us to offer all suppliers and OEMs who participate in the North American market more comprehensive services for their validation projects. We will be happy to support you. Please contact us!
