DAkkS accreditation for imat Shenyang
The branch imat Shenyang in the north of China has received the DAkkS accreditation according to DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025 in the areas of paint and material surface testing as well as environmental simulation. Thus, the imat-uve group is expanding its accredited services from Germany to its branches.
The accredited test methods relate, among others, to VDA, Daimler, BMW, and VW standards, particularly for

- Visual evaluation of color change
- Environmental simulation using climate tests
- Sun simulation with metal-halogenide lamps
- Length measurement
- Optical component measurement
These tests are carried out in the field of component development and part approval as well as the series validation of lacquered interior and exterior components.
With this flexible accreditation for lacquer, surface and environmental simulation tests imat Shenyang managed to expand the portfolio in the area of testing validation again and thus meet the requirements of OEMs and suppliers in a more targeted manner.
