Harmonization of Emission Standards through CS-13398

The introduction of the new harmonized standard CS-13398 for emission testing by the Stellantis Group marks a significant step towards unified quality and safety standards for vehicle interiors. This testing specification, originally developed for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), now applies to all brands under the Stellantis umbrella.

The CS-13398 delivery specification defines the minimum requirements for materials in terms of fogging, odor, carbonyl, VOC, and TVOC emissions.

We are delighted to announce that we have been approved for all testing procedures according to the new CS-13398 specification:

Microchamber: ISO 12219-3 (ISO 16000-6)
Formaldehyde, Carbonyls: D40 5535 (ISO 16000-3)
VOC: D10 5495 (VDA 278)
Fogging: D45 1727, SAE J1756
Odor: D10 5517, LP-463KC-09-01
